Atomika Acids

High purity Acids for sample preparation in Inorganic Trace metal analysis

These acids require extremely pure agents as impurities can affect accuracy in readings. They have extremely low impurities which enables them to be perfect for high-precision analysis in the parts per billion (ppb) range, meeting the highest demands for ultra-trace instrumental analysis.  Their reliably high stability guarantees consistent purity during the entire minimum shelf life.

Suprapure Acids:  65% Nitric Acid, 48% Hydrofluoric and 32% Hydrochloric –

  • Suitable for trace analysis in the ppb range.
  • Our acids are stored in high-density fluorinated Nalgene bottles.
  • Minimize elemental impurities, ensuring consistent quality
  • Used for ICP-0ES & ICP-MS

Atomic Absorption Solutions

Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES) are techniques for quantifying chemical elements by analyzing free atoms in the gaseous state. AAS measures element concentrations through light absorption by free metallic ions, detecting over 70 elements in solutions or solids via electrothermal vaporization. Widely applied in fields like pharmacology, biophysics, archaeology, and toxicology, AAS identifies elements using their unique absorption spectra.
