Atomika Acids

High purity Acids for sample preparation in Inorganic Trace metal analysis.

These acids require extremely pure agents as impurities can affect accuracy in readings. They have extremely low impurities which enables them to be perfect for high-precision analysis in the parts per billion (ppb) range, meeting the highest demands for ultra-trace instrumental analysis.  Their reliably high stability guarantees consistent purity during the entire minimum shelf life.

Suprapure Acids:  65% Nitric Acid, 48% Hydrofluoric and 32% Hydrochloric –

  • Suitable for trace analysis in the ppb range.
  • Our acids are stored in high-density fluorinated Nalgene bottles.
  • Minimize elemental impurities, ensuring consistent quality
  • Used for ICP-0ES & ICP-MS

Atomic Absorption Solutions

Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES) is a spectro analytical procedure for the quantitative determination of chemical elements by free atoms in the gaseous state. Atomic absorption spectroscopy is based on absorption of light by free metallic ions. In analytical chemistry the technique is used for determining the concentration of a particular element (the analyte) in a sample to be analyzed. AAS can be used to determine over 70 different elements in solution, or directly in solid samples via electrothermal vaporization, and is used in pharmacology, biophysics, archaeology and toxicology research. Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) measure the concentration of specific elements in a sample by analysing their unique “fingerprint” in the form of an atomic absorption spectrum.
